Universal Design for Learning (with Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence)
The Universal Design for Learning endorsement begins with the asynchronous self-guided course, OL 3600: Universal Design for Learning (UDL). OL 3600 is available throughout the calendar year.
Those who complete OL 3600 will be invited to enroll in Teach to Reach with UDL, a four-week, asynchronous, instructor-led online course offered by Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence (SITE) in which participants create a UDL-inspired instructional activity. Teach to Reach is offered in spring and fall semesters.
Completion of both OL 3600 and Teach to Reach within one year are required to earn this endorsement. Register for OL 3600 through the WCOFD course catalog. Register for this endorsement through SITE’s event registration page.

Integrating Open Educational Resources and Practices into Your Course (with Penn State Libraries)
This endorsement begins with the asynchronous, instructor-led course OL 2450: Integrating Open Educational Resources in Your Course. OL 2450 is offered in the spring and fall semesters.
To receive the endorsement, those who complete OL 2450 will be required to consult with a librarian who specializes in open educational for personalized support in applying the knowledge from OL 2450 to an upcoming course offering. Participants can schedule the initial consultation through the University Libraries’ Consultation Request form.
