The goal of this course is to equip faculty with knowledge about accessible web practices and course design as they author courses in Canvas, and to provide a broader perspective of who our World Campus students are and why these practices matter.
This course consists of a Course Introduction and Persona lesson with important foundational information followed by 11 lessons on creating accessible course content. Those 11 lessons have the same basic structure: an Overview page, a Best Practices page, and a How-To page. All lessons have a short quiz at the end, and you must pass all quizzes at 85% correct or better to complete the course. You can take the quizzes as many times as you like.
