OL 3850.01: Excellence in Academic Advising: Under-Resourced Students II

This course is part two of the different student populations, called “under-resourced” students, and how to provide quality academic advising based on the essential components and unique characteristics of each student population. Topics include advising diverse student populations of athletes, online, non-traditional, high-achieving, military, and transfer. It is not required that you complete part I before this course.

General Course Outline
This course will provide information, resources, learning activities, and feedback regarding the following topics for advising several different under-resourced student populations in higher education. These topics are included in the four course modules:
