  • 01/01/2023 - 12/31/2023

This course should help you handle distressing behavior or disclosures of distress. You will learn where to point students for assistance, how to identify urgent concerns, what the best practices for alleviating stress and creating an inclusive learning environment are, when to handle concerns yourself, and when to refer students to other services.

We are a community at Penn State, and community is one of our values. By recognizing and handling signs and disclosures of distress from your students, you contribute to the health and well-being of the Penn State community. Thank you for your concern for your students and for taking this course.
