REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED FOR THE FALL 2016 OFFERING AS OF AUGUST 31.

The Graduate Student Online Teaching Certificate Program begins in September 12, 2016! Last year, our first offering of the program, over 350 Penn State masters and doctoral students enrolled. This voluntary program is designed to develop and extend online teaching skills, competencies, and understandings in order for Penn State graduate students to be more effective online instructors for the university and to be more competitive on the job market.

Built on philosophical principles of competency-based learning and the Teaching for Understanding framework, the coursework consists of a five-week, cohort, fully online program and a live webinar.

For more introductory details about the program, read more about it on this summary of the program.
