This week a brand new tool called the Ed Tech Advisor was launched to help faculty not only see what sorts of tools are available at Penn State for teaching and learning, but to get a sense for how thy might be used. There are several ways of looking for a tool whether by your teaching needs or objectives, or what you would like to see your students be able to do.
Let’s say that you want your students to create a short video. How would you go about doing that? What if you want your students to analyze a concept or other course material; or what if you would like them to engage in peer to peer interaction? The Ed Tech Advisor is designed both as a guide to help you find technology tools and resources that can be used on the web, and as a way to think about your own course objectives and methods to assess student learning.
So check out the Ed Tech Advisor today!
